Assisi, home of St. Francis, has become my favorite spot in bella Italia. Here is his Christmas message for all of you, I mici amici:
The result of stepping out in faith is realizing a life well lived. When all is said and done, the adventure, the joys, happiness, beauty of the earth…
These will stay with your soul forever.
Yes, every life is touched by heartache and sorrow. They serve to make the time of joy even sweeter. You cannot know great joy without experiencing great sadness.
Don’t be discouraged. When things seem so grim, remember every adversity you made it through to a desirable outcome.
Brighten the world whenever you can. Each beam of light then doubles, triples, and before long, the whole world is aglow. Isn’t it worth the effort?
I am here for you always,
Francis
Peace and bene,
Joanna
This from my guide and friend, Ano.
Interesting times in America. Lessons to be learned. Humbling to take place.
Reality. It changes as Americans change their way of looking at life. Not more, more, more, but what can we do to help others less fortunate? Give them a hand up, a hand out, or both.
Love others, console them. Each soul has a need, a longing that is unspoken.
A touch of the hand, a kind word….it really makes a difference.
All is well. Time is as it should be. So is your universe.
God is and will be.
Now that’s reassuring!
As a human being, we each connect with certain individuals more than others.
Same is true of our connections to the spirit world.
One of my friendships is with a musician whose name you would instantly recognize starting with his rise to fame in the 60’s. He, and so many more artists still have so much to give. To you!
It’s not just an advanced experience for psychic mediums! Reach out in your meditation, or quiet reflective moments.
Ask for guidance, help, inspiration. It may be actual words or music you hear, an inspiring thought pops into your mind, or if you’re an artist (or not) a paintbrush may suddenly have a mind of its own in your hands!
From my friend:
Souls lay bare one after another.
Gutted by disease
Called greed.
Souls lay bare one after another.
No more facade, no more…
Anything.
Does it hurt your eyes? Your ears?
Your heart?
Only if you’re human. Only if you’re human.
When does the extraordinary happen in a life? In the most ordinary of places—if you are open and expect it.
On a recent trip to Orlando, Florida, I ran into the local Wal-Mart to pick up a few things. I noticed as I entered the bread aisle, there was an elderly lady in a wheelchair at the opposite end. As we moved toward each other, a loaf of bread leaped off the top shelf by itself and landed on the floor!
As I walked over to pick it up to get it out of the old lady’s wheelchair path, she said, “What kind of bread is that?” I told her the brand.
She exclaimed, “That’s just what I’ve been lookin’ for but couldn’t find!”
I said it looks like good bread. She said it better be—my angel’s done give it to me!
I told her that her angel was taking good care of her and we parted.
Can the same sort of experience happen to you? Of course!
Here are a few tips:
Be aware of more than what meets the eye. There are layer upon layer of dimensions seen and unseen.
Accept that events and actions beyond our human limitations can be witnessed on the earth plane.
And most of all, look around! Get outside yourself. Does someone need help? A smile? A friendly word of encouragement? If you’re too wrapped up in your grocery list or how fast the line is not moving—well, you most likely will miss an angel moment!
Reach out to your fellow man with an open heart, and the universe will reach out to you.
Life is indeed a cycle—one that keeps repeating over and over. Why do you think bad habits are so hard to break?
You have many lifetimes to perfect them!
Breaking them gets harder and harder but can be done. Alcohol or tobacco addiction not only take prisoner the body, but mind. Even in spirit one has insatiable cravings until healing takes place.
Back in a new body, it can go full blown again very quickly.
Addictions can be conquered. It takes mind and body.
Hypnosis and other alternative treatments are desirable.
It’s not a matter of willpower or discipline. Go to the heart, the root cause of the addiction. When your heart rings out—then healing begins to take place.
Feel the pain, acknowledge the suffering, the abuse of self and others, then flush it away.
You can let it go! God designed you with a safety valve to release unwanted debris by purging it out of your life.
See the pain, feel the pain, then flush it away.
Addiction is the crutch used by a healthy man to keep him from running, leaping in the air.
How badly do you want pure joy?
Enough to change?
Enough to examine deeply your own life?
Enough to stop judging and condemning others to take the focus off yourself?
Life is sweet. Life is awesome.
See for yourself.
Do we create what we fear? A thousand times yes! Our thoughts carry enormous weight with the universe. It’s not our bodies here, doing and making things happen with our busyness. It’s our thought vibrations. They change the reality without a finger being lifted or even a body present.
Imagine just your spirit or soul existing without the body. Do things stay the same? Do they change in this dimension on the earth plane? Of course they would.
Collectively human minds have unlimited power. You don’t banish fear by constantly thinking fear. Instead think and be—courageous. Or strong. Or steadfast.
When you start giving in to fears and the mind races like a runaway train, it gets harder and harder to stop the locomotive, much less turn it around.
Every day take one step forward, then another and another.
This from my friend Ano:
It is a glorious day in your world. Rejoice! Spring is here.
The earth has awakened once more. Birds cry out their ode to the season.
What to do first? Make a list of what you want. Literally.
Watch the list become reality. It will. It must. That’s the requirement of your subconscious mind.
Your wish is its command.
All is not lost. Indeed all is gained by giving up control, and leaving your destiny in the hands of God.
Yes, you must decide the perimeters, then God fills in with beautiful, glorious detail.
How wondrous is that?
When you take a step out on faith to leave your safe, comfortable world, it’s just the beginning, not the ending. Whew, I did it! Not so fast. There’s a heck of a lot of work still ahead.
The changes most continue in order for the universe to really believe you desire change in your life. You can’t switch jobs, leave your husband, move around the world (guess that would be me!), or change your body shape (not me yet!), without keeping the momentum going.
If your expectations are to make the big leap and expect everything to immediately fall into place—sorry! Not on this plane.
Keep your eye on the prize, and your feet moving. And no going back to visit the old neighborhood, if you get my drift. If you truly desire change (that’s what that nagging unhappy feeling you can’t shake is about), you cannot do it halfway. It’s all or nothin’. Trust me, the universe sits up and takes notice. “Wow. She really means business. Let’s get busy guys! Dreams to deliver on aisle 4!”
So you’ve made the decision to change and put it into action. Now comes the even more challenging part. Living with it day to day, until the new way of life that you said you wanted, takes strong hold. It becomes ingrained….and what do you know…soon you’ve got a new happiness chip in your DNA.
It takes courage and commitment to change. But the good news is that a myriad of help is available in every dimension. Ask, have faith, then say YES!!
Yes to a new life. Yes to adventure. Yes to igniting the flames of a passionate life.
When the knock on the door to a new life comes, will you open it?
For my family and me, the answer is yes! My husband Jeff recently was offered the opportunity to serve in Naples, Italy, for a year with the US Navy. It has been his dream for many years as a reservist to serve his country on a full-time basis…so off we go to Italy!
Don’t be afraid of the unknown, and of change. This from my wise friend Ano:
Life is filled with change. The earth, your world, is constantly in motion. Why would a life in harmony with the earth be any different? Motion and movement don’t have to mean being tired, overwhelmed, or stressed. Just constantly growing, stretching, becoming something more than your physicality would indicate.
Life is precious. Each day is to be spent thoughtfully and filled with joy and love—for you have life and breath!
Peace be with you my child,
Ano
I promise to make regular postings about our European adventure. If you’re in Italy, drop by for a pizza pie!
“Faith is believing, then seeing. Not seeing, then believing.”
Fairies whisper in the night
Bouncing, playing, twirling
On wind with no end in sight.
Ever hopeful, songs aplenty
Lead them to a land of honey.
If we were but like the fairies
Called to dance and play and sing.
Would our world be ever joyful?
Wrapped around a maypole ring.
Today’s message is from my friend Jesus. We had a little chat during Mass awhile back. I asked him why do we need to come to church?
It’s about seeing God in yourself. That’s why you come to this house to gather as a people. Hope and faith are restored in yourself. It’s not about me, it’s about you!
Have you food for today? A place to sleep? Rejoice and be glad.
My prayer that day:
May the divine spark within that sometimes flickers so dangerously low
Become a constant flame that makes my countenance glow
For all to see and spark within themselves such a light.
Everything that happens is to make me more into God’s image.
It will be no surprise to you who know me that I frequently talk to, and write down messages from those in other dimensions. Some are recognizable names, some are not.
This comes from an automatic writing session not long ago with Mother Teresa.
Don’t feel sorrow, sadness, or guilt for another. Does that help them? Send them love, good health, thoughts of warm food for their bodies and souls, and light (which encompasses all the above).
Much love to you my child. I am here to help any time you require my assistance.
As with all 5-year-olds, my little Julia is just full of questions about life. It’s so big and new and wonderful. She asked me one day. “Mommy, what are carrots made of?” As I started to answer, the next question and the next started pouring out.
“And what about trees. What are they made out of ?”
“And squirrels and houses and my doll?”
And finally, the biggie…”And Mommy, what are people made out of?”
I had to think for a second, but not Julia. “Oh, I know Mommy. God made people out of love!” And how!
Check back for updates on this page as I bring you thoughts, stories, and messages that can lift your spirit and help you see with your heart.
